When you register for an account, we collect:

- Name (optional)
- Password (encrypted)
- Optional profile photo and date of birth if you provide them
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use the App:
- Daily goals and tasks you create
- Life goals and milestones
- Lucky moments/gratitude entries
- Streak data and completion statistics
- App Blocker preferences you configure (on-device; see Screen Time below)
Screen Time / App Blocker (iOS & Android)
If you enable App Blocker features, the App may use platform APIs (including Apple Family Controls / Screen Time APIs on iOS, and usage-access / overlay APIs on Android) to help you limit selected apps. Selection of apps and enforcement state is processed on your device to provide the feature you requested. We do not sell this data.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Create and manage your user account
- Sync your data across devices
- Process purchases and restore entitlement status
- Send push notifications (with your consent)
- Improve and optimize the App
Data Storage and Security
- Your account data is stored securely on cloud servers (hosted infrastructure)
- Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard bcrypt hashing
- We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transfers
- Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
- Apple App Store / StoreKit (iOS): processes In-App Purchases and subscriptions. Payment details are handled by Apple, not VIRTA.
- Google Play Billing (Android): processes In-App Purchases and subscriptions. Payment details are handled by Google, not VIRTA.
- RevenueCat: helps us verify purchase entitlements (e.g. VIRTA Full). See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
- OpenAI: for AI-powered suggestions (Virty). Only the text needed for the feature is sent; we do not intentionally send your password.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data
- Opt-out of push notifications
Data Deletion
To delete your account and all associated data, visit: Account Deletion or use Delete Account in the App profile settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days (except where we must retain records for legal or fraud-prevention reasons).
